CLASSIC OATMEAL

Ingredients:

  • Oat flakes – 100 g
  • Water – 200 ml
  • Milk – 100 ml
  • Cream – 50 g

To do this, bring the water to a boil and add the cereal, stirring gently with a whisk, without beating, for 10 minutes. Put the finished “base” on a flat plate and loosen it with a fork and knead the lumps, if any. Leave to cool for 15-20 minutes.
  • Pour milk, cream and butter into a saucepan. Bring to a boil and add the “base” obtained in the first stage. Add salt and sugar to taste and over medium heat, stirring constantly, bring the porridge to the desired consistency – it should not be too thin or thick.
